Field trip prices for school groups to see Vatican Splendors are $6 per person. Home schools receive the same school group rate.

Special Services

Western Reserve Historical Society strives to provide a quality experience to all visitors regardless of any physical challenge. The museum is wheelchair accessible, and a limited number of wheelchairs are available at the museum box office for use in the museum galleries.

The Western Reserve Historical Society joins you in your goal to achieve success and fun in your classroom.

As an additional teaching tool we have added a downloadable "Teacher's Guide" to incorporate historical and artistic elements from the exhibition into your lesson plans prior to attending the exhibit. Educator's Guide

1. What are the hours of the exhibition?

Vatican Splendors will be open Monday- Wednesday, 10 a.m. – 9 p.m. Last admission is at 7 p.m.; Thursday- Sunday 10 a.m. – 6 p.m.; Last admission is at 5 p.m.

2. How long does it take to go through your galleries?

Most visitors spend between one and two hours viewing the exhibitions.

3. What ages are appropriate?

Exhibitions are for all ages.

4. Do you offer wheelchairs?

Yes, wheelchairs are available at no extra charge. The galleries are handicap accessible. Note: a limited number of wheelchairs are available.

5. Are there individual tours?

All tours are self-guided. Tours for groups of 10 or more may be arranged in advance at a discount rate.

6. May I bring a stroller?

Strollers are not allowed in the galleries.

7. May I bring my camcorder and my camera?

No, unfortunately, photography is not permitted in the exhibition.

8. Where can I park?

National Exhibition Organizers

“Vatican Splendors” is organized and circulated in conjunction with the Governatorato of the Vatican City State. The national exhibition is produced by Evergreen Exhibitions. Objects in the Vatican exhibition are on loan from the Office of the Liturgical Celebrations of the Supreme Pontiff, the Congregation for the Evangelization of Peoples, the Vatican Museums, the Reverenda Fabbrica of Saint Peter, and the Apostolic Floreria. Additional objects are on loan by the Papal Swiss Guard and private collections.

In St. Petersburg, the exhibition is organized in association with the Florida International Museum.

In Cleveland, the exhibition is organized in association with the Western Reserve Historical Society.
